Daulat Devi inter college was started by a virtuous lady Mrs. Daulat Devi Prajapati, the founder of the school, who had no issues. She had given her school in charity in the year 1960 before her demise. The school was named after her. It was established in 1964 located at Kalyanpuri Thakurganj Lucknow. In the year 1973 the school was recognized for class 1st to 5th. In 1991 it was recognized for class 8th we got recognition for class 10th in the year 2001 and 12th in the year 2003. Since then the school has been running under the name of 'Daulat Devi Inter College'. Daulat Devi Inter College is affiliated to U.P Board Allahabad. It is a co-educational institution. The management of Daulat Devi Inter College is a private body. The object of this institution is to provide not only a high quality education standard to the student but also help them in their overall development.
